Scuba Diving off the Coast of North Carolina

My scuba dives involve the crystal clear warm waters of the Carribean. Sorry I've just never been more adventurous than that. Seems I've been missing out on a lot of great scuba diving in the Atlantic waters off the coast of North Carolina in particular. Visibility is not too bad at up to 100 feet. The cool thing is all those shipwrecks from weather and war. Apparently most of the popular dives are between 80 and 125 feet.

I think it would be very interesting to dive to view a sunk German U-boat. Never had the opportunity but this article below gave me the thought that it might be worth pursuing one day.
